I am an Illustrator, Graphic Artist and Creative Artworker with a skill base than can be applied to almost every aspect of design and production. With a deep and broad catalogue of work across media, for creative agencies and direct in industry I have been involved in illustrating clothing for Levis, producing technical diagrams for many magazines and newspapers, technical illustration and combining years of graphics experience as a Creative Artworker so I'm as comfortable working from a design brief as I am producing final artwork.
I do my best to make everything as good as it can be and add to any team I work with and project I work on, no drama, just a solid, creative approach to take an idea from sketch to delivery, whichever stage of the project I'm needed.
What I do
Artworking for print including (but not limited to) adverts, reports, POVs, posters, signage and stand graphics. Digital build-out assets including motion graphics, artworking in Sketch and XD. Interactive PDF build from InDesign and Illustrator.
Advanced retouching and compositing from concept to final art.
Illustration and graphic art to illustrate key art, data and features, stand-alone or as part of the artworking process.
Powerpoint and Keynote presentations using existing brand guidelines, including animating and templating.
Experienced in product photography, time-lapse and low light HDR.
A little history
Trained as a technical illustrator specialising in visual communications I have been freelance for the majority of my working life. A large percentage of my work has been direct commissions as well as working freelance with design teams in publishing, consumer magazines, national press, communication and marketing agencies.
Interests
I am a keen off-road cyclist, tennis player and I love to ski.
